A Legendary
Big-Water Fishery

Quesnel Lake stretches across three massive arms—each nearly 30 miles long—cutting deep into the Cariboo Mountains. Fed by salmon-bearing rivers, this nutrient-rich system produces fast-growing, late-maturing Rainbow and Bull Trout known for their size, strength, and endurance. With conservation regulations protecting fish over 19 inches, the quality of the fishery continues to improve year after year. This is big water fishing at its finest—where every strike feels earned.

Trophy Trout & Deep-Water Action

Anglers come to Quesnel Lake in pursuit of truly special fish. We target productive drop-offs, transition zones, and feeding areas to hunt elusive Rainbow Trout pushing the 20 lb mark, along with powerful Bull Trout. Jigging techniques are also used to target deep-water lake trout, adding variety and excitement to each day on the lake. When conditions line up, Quesnel Lake delivers fish that few anglers ever forget.

Scenic Exploration Between Casts

Fishing here is as much about the journey as the catch. Between runs, take in sweeping mountain views, glassy water, and remote shoreline scenery. A highlight for many guests is visiting Little Niagara Falls, a stunning 250-foot waterfall tucked away on the remote East Arm of the lake—a sight few people ever get to experience.

Days on Quesnel Lake often include relaxing breaks on sandy beaches, where we enjoy shoreline lunches in a spectacular wilderness setting. It’s the perfect chance to recharge, take photos, and soak in the scale and solitude of this remarkable place.
